Each year CLEAR WORD CONFERENCE selects a theme that is relevant to where we are as a church in the midst of a sometimes adverse culture. Previous conferences have focused on cultural conflict. In one we explored ways to reach out to the LGBT community with Christ-like compassion. Our focus turned to suffering and martyrdom in another conference as the world was shocked by the violent beheading of Christians in Libya. We attempted to answer critical questions about blessing and suffering, martyrdom and deliverance, life and death.
The theme of our next conference has yet to be determined. We do not rush into the decision concerning our focus until we feel a definite direction in the Spirit to respond to a contemporary need in the church. Occasionally, check back to this page to see updates to our focus. |
