Theme for 2014Each year a theme is selected for CLEAR WORD CONFERENCE. The focus for 2014 was to study ways the church might be more effective reaching the LGBT community. Changing cultural trends make it more difficult of the church to relate and reach out with compassion to those who need the savior regardless of their life choices. The Gospel is powerful to save. No one is beyond its reach. The church must build a bridge for those who are seeking truth.

Cultural change: The Church in the CrosshairsA “culture shift” is greater than the flux of change. We are experiencing an earthquake event. A seismic shift of the foundations. Something has happened that has altered in the bedrock of society.
This great social and cultural upheaval has the potential to produce the greatest disruption in the social order ... BUT it will also produce the potential for the greatest spiritual revival the church has ever experienced. It will be stressful. Maybe even frightening. But if the church will awaken to the possibilities there will be tremendous tidal wave of conversions as people seek the security and reality of something unchanging, immovable, and eternal! |

Continue steadfastly in prayer,...
that God may open to us a door for the word,
that I may make it clear, which is how I ought to speak.
